You are myopic. You’re not the only person to be called short sighted. You can see things close well, but the distance is an issue.
We all have a crystalline lens at the front of our eyes. This lens can thicken, thin and change shape to help us see in the distance or up close. In fully working eyes, the lens makes the adjustments easily. Sadly your lens has trouble shaping itself to see the distance.
Distance glasses are an easy type of lens to dispense. Work out the thickness of the lens, choose a frame with the correct width, shape, colour and choose the amount of thinning required. Easy
