Skin Tone

Warm Skin Tone
If you have a warm skin tone you probably tend to wear gold jewellery. Your skin may have redness about it or even a tan complexion. The colours that would suit you would include: Gold, brown, bronze and red.

The colour of your skin can determine which frame to wear. It’s not because frames are racist. Some colours suit one skin tone more than another. Your hair colour can have an effect as well. The first section will look at the subtle look and the second will look at a bolder look.

Cool Skin Tone
If you have cool skin tone you will probably wear silver jewellery. Basically you are fairly white. You will prefer to go for cooler colours. These colours include silver, blue, pink, violet, green and grey.
Black
Black frames will stick out on most people’s face. It can give a stern look to your face and make you come across as a nasty maths teacher. Saying that, Geek Chic is fashionable. This is when people wear big, plastic frames. People with dark hair and darker skin tones have features that allows black to blend in.
Hair
Your hair can enhance the nature of your skin tone. For example someone with black hair and quite warm skin tone will suit a black frame. People with low fringes may want a different colour of frame from their hair. Getting frames the same colour as the fringe can make the colour too dominant on the face. This is one reason why elderly people should not choose grey frames.
Bolder Look
Go for black frames, or use colours opposite of what has been listed for your skin tone.
